He has spent years dialing in the details that matter—gear setup, bait presentation, drift management, bite detection, and boat positioning—because daytime swordfishing leaves very little room for mistakes. When a fish comes tight, the pace changes fast. Captain Matt is moving, calling shots, making adjustments, and staying fully engaged until the fish is in the boat.

This is not a passive charter experience. Clients and students are involved in every step of the process and learn not just what to do, but why it works. The goal isn’t simply to catch a swordfish—it’s to leave the dock with the knowledge and confidence to do it again on your own boat.
