Daytime Swordfish School
Service Description
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of daytime swordfishing? This 1.5-day hands-on course is designed for anglers who want real-world knowledge, not theory—covering everything needed to confidently target swordfish during the day. Day 1 – Dockside Instruction (½ Day) Day one is conducted dockside and focuses on preparation and setup. We’ll cover: Required and recommended equipment Baits and rigging Vessel setup for daytime swordfishing Gear selection and configuration Day 2 – Offshore Instruction (Full Day) Day two takes place offshore aboard your vessel, where we put everything into practice. Instruction includes: Boat handling and positioning Setting and managing the bait Where and when to fish Recognizing and reacting to bites Proper fish handling and care This course is structured to utilize your boat and much of your existing equipment, ensuring what you learn directly applies to how you fish going forward. Requirements: Participants must hold a valid Federal HMS (Highly Migratory Species) Permit prior to the offshore day. Liability Waiver: All participants are required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver before participating in the Daytime Swordfish School. This is required by the vessel’s marine insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 30 days in advance notice will receive a full refund less a 6% processing fee. Cancellations made from 7 to 30 days out will receive a 75% refund, less a 6% processing fee. Bookings or trips scheduled within 7 days are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged the full price. Customers will receive a full refund, less a 6% processing fee, or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. All Charters may alter pre-determined fishing location(s), switch to back-up date(s) or cancel in lieu of inclement weather to ensure client safety.
